Yes, I'm using 1.1.0.39, but it's not about not displaying being online, but actually not being online. And at the same time facebook account works perfectly, that's why I thought it is an XMPP issue....

That does not count for not accepting online as status and staying offline (mc-tool summary)! Also this used to work before xmpp was unable to go online at all and I had to reset the account.

This problem was also happening to me with Tahkalampi v1.0.8.21 but does not exist anymore with Uitukka v1.1.0.39 However online status indication color in people application did work fine with earlier...
